11. Can those under 18 enter your sweepstakes?
CNR is for people 18 and older. Because of child protection rules, we cannot request personal information from anybody under the age of 18.
12. How do I know if I am a winner?
All winners are selected at random, and each potential winner will be contacted at the email address provided with their membership. Winners may also receive a package containing an Affidavit Of Eligibility and a Publicity Release.
13. Where will I be able to see the list of winners of these sweepstakes?

When you choose to opt out, CNR will retain all your user data for 30 days and then it will be permanently deleted.
You can reactivate your account at any point within 30 days by logging back in. Additionally, by opting out you will no longer receive updates or promotions from CNR and its sponsors.

Indemnification

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
All matters relating to the Platform and these Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or related thereto (in each case, including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule.

In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and Additional Rules, such Additional Rules shall apply. 2. ELIGIBILITY: Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, CNR Contests/Sweepstakes are open to legal residents of India who are at least eighteen (18) years of age, are registered users of the CNR Platform and expressly agree to these Official Rules and all Additional Rules (“Participants”), provided that; officers, directors, employees and agents of Sponsor, CricketNews.com departments and CNR Platform vendors (the "Promotion Entities"), and Household Members and Immediate Family Members of each (“Excluded Users”) are not eligible to enter the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes or win a prize. "Household Members" shall mean those people who share the same residence at least three months a year; "Immediate Family Members" shall mean parents, step-parents, legal guardians, children, step-children, siblings, step-siblings, or spouses. Each of the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes and eligibility for same is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
3. PRIZES: Prizes will be identified separately for each of the individual CNR Contests/Sweepstakes
Unless otherwise indicated in any Additional Rules, only one prize per person and per household will be awarded. Gift cards and gift certificates that may be awarded as prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective issuers. Prizes cannot be transferred, redeemed for cash or substituted by winner. CNR Contests/Sweepstakes Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole and absolute discretion, to award substitute prizes of equal or greater value if a prize identified in a particular CNR Contest/Sweepstakes is unavailable or cannot be awarded, in whole or in part, for any reason. The value of any prize represents Sponsor's good faith determination, which is final and binding and cannot be appealed. Sponsors make no representation or warranty concerning the appearance, safety or performance of any prize awarded. Restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Sponsors will not replace any lost or stolen prize items.
Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, prizes will only be awarded and/or delivered to addresses within India. All federal, state and/or local taxes, fees, and surcharges are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Failure to comply with the Official Rules will result in forfeiture of the prize.
4. HOW TO ENTER: Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, Participants may enter each CNR Contest/Sweepstakes during the applicable Promotion Period by engaging with content on the CNR Platform, which can be found at cricketnewsrewards.perksocial.com/ (or cricketnewsrewards.com), or via the CNR mobile application.
Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, each Entry must be made by the Participant and automated or robotic Entries submitted by individuals or organizations will be disqualified. Any attempt by a Participant to make, obtain or secure more than the permitted number of Entries in any individual CNR Contest/Sweepstakes by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, logins or any other methods, including, but not limited to, commercial contest/sweepstakes subscription notification and/or entering services, will void such Participant's Entries and that Participant may be disqualified from that and future CNR Contests/Sweepstakes. All Entries must be posted by the end of the Promotion Period in order to be considered, and CNR or its designated representative will be the official timekeeper for their respective CNR Contests/Sweepstakes.
Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, all Entries and information therein submitted in connection with the each CNR Contest/Sweepstakes (collectively, "Entry Materials"), together with all copyright, trademark and other proprietary rights associated therewith, will become the property of CNR upon submission.
5. WINNER SELECTION: Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, the winner(s) of each CNR Contests/Sweepstakes will be determined as follows:
(i) In the case of sweepstakes, the winner(s) will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible Entries received throughout the Promotion Period, which random drawing will be conducted after the Promotion Period by CNR or its designated representative, whose decision(s) in selecting/identifying the winner(s) are final. The odds of winning such sweepstakes will vary depending on the number of eligible Entries received.
(ii) In the case of contests, the winner(s) will be selected according to the criteria set forth in the Additional Rules for each such contest, as determined by CNR or its designated representative, in their sole and complete discretion, whose decision(s) in selecting/identifying the winner(s) are final.
In all instances, final eligibility for the award and receipt of any prize is subject to eligibility verification as set forth below.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION/CONFIRMATION: Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, each winning Participant will be notified by email at the email address provided in that Participant’s Entry within approximately five (5) business days of the selection of the winner(s) as described above. Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, each potential prize winner must confirm eligibility and acceptance of her/his prize by email, as directed by CNR or its designated representative. within 5-10 business days of notification. Neither CNR or its designated representative is responsible for any delay in or failure to receive notification from any potential prize winner for any reason, including inactive email account(s), technical difficulties associated therewith, or any potential prize winner’s failure to adequately monitor any email account.
Any notification of winning to which no response is received or which is returned as undeliverable may result in forfeiture of the prize. The potential prize winner may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, release of liability and/or a publicity release (collectively, "Prize Claim Documents"). No substitution or transfer of a prize is permitted except by CNR or its designated representative.
7. PRIVACY: Except as otherwise provided in any Additional Rules, any personally identifiable information (“PII”) supplied by Participants will be subject to the CNR Privacy Policy posted at https://cricketnewsrewards.perksocial.com/. By entering any CNR Contests/Sweepstakes, each Participant grants the CNR, its designated representative, and its CNR Platform vendors permission to share Participant’s email address and other PII with third parties engaged for purposes of CNR Contests/Sweepstakes administration and prize fulfillment, and to use same in publicly available lists of CNR Contests/Sweepstakes winners, which may be posted on the CNR Platform and otherwise disseminated by or through CNR and Sponsors.
8. RESULTS: To request a winners list for a CNR Contest/Sweepstakes, Participants may send a request to support@perksocial.com. Such requests must be received within three (3) weeks of the end of the Promotion Period for the CNR Contest/Sweepstakes.
9. SOCIAL MEDIA DISCLAIMER: Participants may register on or access the CNR Platform or prepare or submit an Entry for a CNR Contest/Sweepstakes using a social media account (e.g., a Facebook account). CNR Contests/Sweepstakes are in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with any such social media platform, nor is any such media platform in any way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with CNR or any Sponsor. Participants who choose to participate in any CNR Contest/Sweepstakes via such a social media platform may also be subject to such social media platform’s privacy policy, terms of use and the like.
10. RELEASE & LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: By participating in a CNR Contest/Sweepstakes, each Participant agrees to release and hold harmless CNR and Sponsor and each of their affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, and agents (the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes or receipt or use of any prize therefrom, including, but not limited to: (a) any error that may prevent an entrant from submitting an entry; (b) unauthorized intervention in the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes; (c) printing or typographical errors in materials associated with the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes; (d) lost or late Entries; (e) errors in the administration of the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes or the processing of Entries; (f) alleged or actual violations of rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional; (g) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet, or other computer- or communications-related malfunctions or failures; or (h) injury, death, or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Participant’s participation in the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes or receipt of any prize, whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or otherwise.
Participant acknowledges and agrees that CNR and Sponsors assume no responsibility or liability for (a) any incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate information in any Entry form or Entry, or for any faulty or failed transmission(s) of same; (b) any unauthorized access to, or theft, destruction or alteration of any Entry form or Entry or any information therein; (c) any technical malfunction, failure, error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, camera, computers or providers utilized in any aspect of the operation of the CNR Platform or any CNR Contests/Sweepstakes; (d) any inaccessibility or unavailability of the CNR Platform or any network or wireless service, the Internet, any wireless or landline telephone service, any website or any combination thereof; or (e) any harm or damage to Participant's or any other person’s computer or mobile device which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes or to access or download any materials related to any CNR Contests/Sweepstakes.
Participant further agrees that in any cause of action, the Released Parties’ liability will be limited to the out-of-pocket cost to Participant of entering and participating in the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes, and in no event shall the Released Parties be liable for attorney’s fees. Participant waives the right to claim any damages whatsoever, including, but not limited to, punitive, consequential, direct, or indirect damages.
11. CANCELLATION, TERMINATION, SUSPENSION: If, for any reason, any CNR Contest/Sweepstakes is not capable of running or operating as planned, for reasons which may include, without limitation, infection by malware or computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of any CNR Contest/Sweepstakes, CNR and Sponsor reserve the right, at their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend such CNR Contest/Sweepstakes, in whole or in part. In such event, CNR and Sponsor shall immediately suspend all drawings, selections and prize awards, provided further that; in such event, CNR and Sponsor reserve the right to award any remaining prizes in a manner deemed fair and equitable by CNR and Sponsor, in their sole discretion. Sponsor and Released Parties shall not have any further liability to any participant in connection with the CNR Contests/Sweepstakes.
12. SEVERABILITY: These Official Rules are severable, and if any portion is determined to be invalid or unenforceable by a body of competent jurisdiction, the remaining portions will remain valid, enforceable and in effect to the fullest extent consistent with applicable law.
13. GOVERNING LAW, DISPUTES: The CNR Contest/Sweepstakes, including these Official Rules and any Additional Rules, shall be governed under the laws of India, without regard to conflicts of law principles to the contrary.
If CNR or Sponsor prevails in any [arbitration OR legal proceeding] against a Participant hereunder, it shall be entitled to recover, in addition to all other available legal and equitable relief, its legal costs, including attorneys’ fees.

Different types of information collected or received on or through the CNR Platform, including PII, is used in different ways, including the following.
Contact Information. We may use Your contact information collected on or through the CNR Platform for many purposes, including, to advertise its services and the goods and services of third parties, to create a personalized experience for You, to provide You with news and information, to contact You regarding surveys, to notify You of material changes in the CNR Platform's policies, to advise You of new services the CNR Platform may offer, to share testimonials or otherwise. You should be aware that social media pages or third-party websites that may be accessed from the CNR Platform through hyperlinks or gateways (like banner advertisements) may themselves collect PII, are not controlled by the CNR Platform and are not subject to this Privacy Policy. Most such websites or social media pages have their own privacy policies and we suggest that you check those in order to understand how the proprietors of social media pages or third party sites may use your PII.
Security
The CNR Platform employs industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under the Platform's control. Although we have undertaken to create a secure and reliable Platform, You should understand that the confidentiality of any communication or material or information provided to or through the Platform cannot be guaranteed. Accordingly, You should consider carefully whether to submit sensitive information to the CNR Platform. We urge you to take every appropriate precaution to protect your PII when on-line.
Consenting or "Opting Out" of Data Collection & Use
As explained above, You are permitted to browse the Platform without registering. For example, if the CNR Platform conducts a survey, You do not have participate unless You agree to do so.
